Landscaping in Brookhaven
Brookhaven, in DeKalb County just northeast of Buckhead, mixes older brick ranch homes with a large amount of newer infill construction. Teardown and rebuild projects frequently leave compacted clay, changed grades and new drainage patterns that the finished landscape has to fix. Nancy Creek runs through the city, and lots near it or its tributaries may fall within protected stream buffers.
